The celebratory opening of the new Collaborative Research Centre “Intervening Arts” takes place in cooperation with the Akademie der Künste Berlin.
Academic perspectives and artistic positions complement and comment each other to explore the relationship between art, society and politics. Together, we explore the generative potential of the arts: Which role do artistic interventions play in social processes? Is the ambivalent term “intervention” suitable at all for capturing these dynamics?
The event will be held in English. German translation will be available.
