Three activists from the Agape Earth Coalition are guests at the SFB: Tinaye Hazel Mabara, Edwin Namankanga and Isaac Ssentumbwe. Together with the performer and multimedia artist Leicy Valenzuela and Marco Clausen from the Spore Initiative team and the "Science and Activism" working group, members of the SFB and anyone else interested, they will discuss youth and educational work projects and the role of artistic methods of generating empathy and multiplying perspectives.
On Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 12 p.m., three other representatives of the Agape Earth Coalition will also be guests at the lecture by Matthias Grotkopp from project C05 in the lecture hall at the Institute for Theater Studies, Grunewaldstr. 35, 12165 Berlin. The lecture will focus on media strategies of the climate justice movement in the Global South with a focus on social media and online videos.
The event was initiated by the working group "Science and Activism" and will take place in preparation for the Barcamp From Facts to Lived Knowledge on November 22, 2024.
