The new season of our podcast Sonic Interventions is out now!

Season two, initiated by the research project B05, presents conversations with Asian (diasporic) artists and scholars about sonic resistance in their practices and own lives.

The first episode Archival Silences features a four-way conversation with artist-scholar Prof. Dr. meLê yamomo, Prof. Dr. Doris Kolesch, Dr. Layla Zami, and Emma Lo. They discuss archival silences in Prof. Dr. yamomo artistic and scholarly work, touching on his performance "Echoing Europe," his theory of the "sonus," and his transnational research project Decolonizing Southeast Asian Sound Archives (DeCoSEAS).
